First Mountaineer Hike
Today I went on my first hike as a Mountaineer!
I drove up to Issaquah, met my group at the local Park & Ride and headed to the Iron Goat trail.
We started out for the Cedar Butte trailhead with a group of nine (7 women, 2 men). It was a nice hike, beautiful and relaxing.
We reached the summit for lunch and had
a beautiful view to sit and look at. It was a little cold at the top and with my new found Mountaineer preparedness, I was glad I had brought extra layers.All in all, it was a great experience and I'll do it again next weekend. See you on a trail!
