Hmm... Phoenix in June

What is the weather like in Phoenix, AZ in June you ask?

HOT.

You know what? It's not just HOT. It's freaking REALLY HOT. Above is a fountain from my hotel with a cactus in the center.

It was 115 on Friday when I left... SO - I took the opportunity to put my feet in the water.

At this point it was 95 at 10pm. Nice.

It was beautiful though.

I went and had dinner one night at a place called "Cork & Cleaver" - I was told they had really good steaks. I did NOT realize however, that the actual menu was on a CLEAVER (yes, it's real).

Good food - although I had happy hour shrimp and oysters. Yummie.

Well, I am off again to the land of gravel yards and large rocks.

See you guys soon!

If you haven't signed up for the 2007 ALS DoubleDay yet - hurry!
