Missing the Mountains

Lake Arrowhead, CA

I drove up to Lake Arrowhead, CA for the weekend - I missed the mountains. The small hotel I stayed in was built in 1917!

I even had a fireplace in my really small room!

With nothing to do, I continued to follow the winding HWY 18 to Big Bear Lake, where I found - Yeeeeaaaaahhhhh!

This dog even got to go kayaking! (I dig the doggy life vest!)

Happiness is... small towns in the middle of nowhere... with mountains, lakes, and beauty of nature around me.

Laundry

Because I was now in California for three weeks straight... I had to do some laundry. Unfortunately, the Westin doesn't have a guest laundry. Good thing I knew where to find one! I snuck into the Sheraton hotel, did my laundry and had dinner. Just like being at home! (kind of)

I miss my cell phone camera shots of myself - and I'm sure you do too... so here we go!

I drove down PCH (HWY 1) towards San Diego... I needed some Carina time!!

I think my shirt looks like sherbert ice cream.

Once down to San Diego, Carina sent me onto Coranado Island... accessible by bridge... and BEAUTIFUL!

On Sunday I got to drive one of the roommates to work and then Carina took Lindsay and I on a drive around San Diego!
